A very fun project to work on with a huge breadth of different skills and diciplines required.
The main focus initially was to build a playable environment that showcased Havok’s new UE5 integration, highlighting the improved performance and destruction fidelity. This required full previs and stages of set dressing/ level design work, particle system destruction and gameplay logic, and a massive QA pass to make sure everything worked as intended.
Seondly, a showcase video needed creating which summarised everything and most importantly grabbed viewers attention so they’d explore the new systems directly with Havok.
